Porsche Pays Thanks to Friends

Care to venture a guess as to how many friends Porsche has? A thousand?. More. A hundred-thousand? Higher still. A million? Not even close. But, you're getting warmer. We'll just tell you. Exotic automaker Porsche has just passed the two-million friend mark on Facebook. That's roughly a quarter of the size of NYC.
To say thanks for all of the support, and pay tribute to each individual friend, Porsche dedicated a new Porsche Cayman S to the community. Finished in snow-white, the sinuous Cayman S body ultimately serves as a blank canvas on which Porsche friends' profile pics are digitally overlaid. Every pic in the dynamically shaped mosaic is tinted in red, lending the sports car an ultimate sporty look. The front plate, also covered in profile pics, captures how Porsche feels about their connection with fans in four short words: "100% Porsche. 100% You".
The thoughtfully designed Porsche Cayman S will be exhibited at the Porsche Museum in Germany through January 27. As far as we know, test drives are not available. But, if you happen to be there for either business or pleasure, it might be fun to pay a visit and find your profile pic.
In addition to showcasing their friend-inspired Porsche Cayman S in Germany to celebrate their five-million-friend milestone, Porsche also invited all of its fans to vote for their favorite historic racing livery. The general consensus, not surprisingly, is the Porsche 917, sporting red and white... That classic Le Mans victory really left an impression didn't it?
