Many people with a penchant for luxury cars share a common gripe: a severe contempt for going through the process of buying a new set of wheels.  For some it's a matter of time for others it's the uneasiness of change. The solution to this inconvenience: choose a car that's proven to go the distance.

Consumer Reports' 2010 Annual Car Reliability Survey reveals that the Porsche Boxster ($47,600) has the best predicted reliability score.  The recent survey also indicates that all cars and SUVs made by Porsche are rated average or better when it comes to…

Four years without a show car to the event, German luxury car maker Porsche has announced plans to return to the North American International Auto Show. Details are limited at this point but Hans-Gerd Bode, Porsche's Press Manager, told Bloomberg "We'll have something spectacular to show there. You'll have to wait and be surprised."

Almost completely uncovered, the all new Porsche 911 has been discovered. It won't hit dealership lots until 2012, but we have good look at the vehicle.

Both a hard top coupe and convertible / cabriolet have been seen, with a similar design to the previous and iconic model line of…

The Oldest Porsche in America

To celebrate their 60th anniversary of selling vehicles in the US, Porsche embarked on a journey not unlike that of The hobbit or Harry Potter - to find the oldest model Porsche sold in America.

After several months, the company awarded this honor to Dr. Robert Wilson and his 1952 356 Cabriolet. Imported in November of 1952 by legendary automotive businessman Max Hoffman, this 356 was discovered in a savage yard. Wilson, knowing a good find when saw it, had the car restored to its current condition.

Porsche's search also discovered Richard Brumme's 1950 356 Cabriolet, which was one…
