Porsche Cajun 2-Door SUV

Porsche's design director wants to have "more influence on Porsche styling" and will start this off by creating a 2-door, smaller SUV for the German auto maker called Cajun.

In an interview at the 2010 Paris Motor Show with auto industry publication Automotive News, design chief Walter de' Silva said, "I really hope to be able to add something positive to Porsche's new models, which will remain coherent with the great tradition of Porsche...The Cajun will be the first new Porsche created under my influence."

Celebrating 60 Years at the Porsche Museum

In honor of Porsche, the luxury German automobile maker, a Porsche Museum was opened in Suttgart, Germany 60 years ago. The museum is celebrating it's birthday with a parade of Porsche vehicles.

Porsche Panamera Surpassed Sales Target

Their was some worry from the execs when the Porsche Panamera first debuted from the German auto maker, that sedan Porsche would not please luxury sports car fans. That worry was not needed as the car is a hit.

Porsche says sales of its Panamera four-door sedan are above expectations worldwide after its first year on the market.

Increase of 40 HP for the Porsche Panamera

Porsche's "individualization program" for the new Panamera sedan has several new additions.

The Powerkit, which is costing around $21,000 for the Panamera Turbo, features two new turbochargers, titanium/aluminum turbine wheels and a revised ECU. These changes help the 4.8-liter V8 to produce 532 bhp and 553 lb-ft of torque.

Because of the added power, the Panamera can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph.
