Take in the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, by Ballet Hawaii at Blaisdell Concert Hall. The show begins with a festive opening night showing on December 16 and runs through December 18.
2. Habilitat Christmas Tree Sales
Purchase a fresh Christmas tree from Habilitat—a nonprofit addiction treatment center. Trees are available through December 23 at four locations near Honolulu. All proceeds directly fund scholarships, professional training, and educational programs through Habilitat.
3. Honolulu City Lights
Don’t miss the Honolulu City Lights! This annual event features the lighting of the city’s tree, a parade downtown, and various other festive holiday displays throughout town.
4. Pearl Harbor Memorial Anniversary Parade
Honor those who served during the annual Pearl Harbor Memorial Anniversary parade at 6:00 p.m. on December 7.
5. 12 Days of Christmas at the Polynesian Cultural Center
Head to the Polynesian Cultural Center for 12 Days of Polynesia from December 10 through December 23. Events include a boat ride through the center’s lagoon, live entertainment, photos with Santa, a special Snow Day, and more.
6. The Amy Hanaiali’i & Willie K Holiday Show
